Created by Alessandro Gualtieri for Nasomatto (launched 2009), it opens green and almost narcotic, deepens into resins, tobacco and coffee, then dries down to a heavy core of agarwood, incense, amber and animalic warmth. It is deliberately polarizing — a love-it-or-hate-it scent that fans describe as glorious in the cold and one of the most potent, atmospheric fragrances ever bottled. Not for the faint of heart.
